How we handle your personal data
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit laundsoft.com or contact us about Neatly Laundry OS, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data

Registered office: 2400 Dunaújváros, Gutenberg köz 2., Hungary
Company registration number: 07-09-029611 (Court of Registration of the Székesfehérvár Regional Court)
EU VAT number: HU26613310

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to. Please send any privacy request to the address above.
What we collect and why
1. The enquiry form
When you send the “Get in touch” form, we receive your name, your laundry or company name, your work e-mail address, the daily volume you enter (optional), the page you sent it from, and the time of sending.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry, arrange a demo and prepare an offer.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in following up on a business enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: up to 2 years after our last contact with you. If we sign a contract, the data becomes part of the customer relationship and is kept as long as the contract and the related legal retention periods require (for example 8 years for accounting records under Hungarian law).
2. E-mails you send us
If you write to us directly, we process your e-mail address, your name and whatever you include in your message, for the same purposes, on the same legal basis and for the same period as form enquiries.
3. Google Ads measurement (only with your consent)
We use the Google tag to see whether our Google Ads lead to enquiries. When you click Accept in the cookie banner, Google may set cookies on your device (for example _gcl_au, kept for up to 90 days) and record that you visited the site or sent the form after clicking one of our ads.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the laundsoft.com home page; withdrawing does not affect processing that happened before.
- If you click Reject or do nothing: no advertising cookies are set. Google's Consent Mode may still send cookieless signals (such as the time of the visit, the browser type and the fact that consent was not given), which Google uses only in aggregated form to estimate ad performance.
4. Your cookie choice
We remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies in your browser's local storage (ls_consent), so we do not ask again on every visit. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice and stays until you clear your browser data.
5. Technical data when you open the site
Like any website, opening laundsoft.com sends your IP address and basic browser information to the servers that deliver it: GitHub, which hosts the site, and Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces. They use this data to deliver the content and to keep their services secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who processes your data for us
